Translation
On the birthday of the Lord,
let all the angels praise
and sing with jubilation:
glory to the one God.
A Virgin bore God,
A Virgin would prepare God,
A Virgin always chaste
Emanuel is born,
whom Gabriel foretold,
Ezechiel is a witness,
from the father proceeded El.
A Virgin bore...
Christ is born today
from the virgin Mary,
not conceived by seed,
he appeared today.
A Virgin bore....
