This Offertory is the fourth in the series of Four Advent Motet Offertory Verses commissioned by by Russell and Charlotte Ostermann, for the Men's Schola of the Cathedral of Saint Joseph, Sioux Falls, SD under the direction of Jared Ostermann.
 
The Offertory, traditionally sung as a response, is here presented with the plainchant in its original form and its verse text composed for TTB voices.  In this edition the clefs have been changed for SSA choir.  If desired the treble singers may sing it up step.
